Highett/Moorabbin- King of the Court

Ours is a comfortable spacious bedroom in light/airy partly updated home with character. You will have a private spa bathroom and toilet; use of a large dining room and garden in a safe quiet court. Within minutes you will find buses and a train. We are close to Monash University, Southland Shopping Centre, Holmesglen Tafe, other training centres and the beach, as well as the Highett shopping/cafe district. Walk for 10 minutes and you can hire a car. The bedroom is a large, comfortable, updated room with a queen sized bed fitted, electric blanket. Room has ceiling fan. Plenty of cupboard space for clothing and other items . The view from the large window next to the bed is of the beautiful front garden full of trees, flowers and birds. The room also includes a new Samsung Smart TV, with Netflix and internet access. The fully equipped guest bathroom includes a shower, bath, and hot spa. There is a separate toilet/powder room exclusively for guest's use. You have full access to the shared kitchen, dining room, laundry, and front yard. Please note the the back part of the house past the kitchen at the end of the hallway is a private area for the owners use only. We ask that you please respect this. We are available to assist with anything that you might want to know, or that you may require. If you'd prefer privacy, your room is located at the front of the house near the front door. You can come and go freely. * Our house is located in a very small, quiet and safe court in the bayside suburb of Moorabbin, with no through traffic, so you are undisturbed by traffic noise. * The local shopping centre and cafes is 10 minute's walk from the house * The large Southland (Westfield) Shopping Centre is 2.6Km away and easily accessible by a bus which is a few minutes walk from our home. Chadstone is a bus ride away. * Brighton Beach is 6Km from the house and easily accessed by public transport, where you can enjoy a walk or swim, or a meal of fish and chips on the foreshore. * Monash University ( both Clayton and Caulfield campuses) is 11Km and easily accessible by public transport. * The Keys Road Training Centre is a 15 minute walk from the house. * Holmesglen TAFE is 5 minute's walk from the house. * The Highett train station is 15 minute's walk from the house, and the train line runs from the city through the beachside suburbs as far as Frankston. * The house is within easy walking distance of Churches, Jain Temple and a Synagogue. * There is a profusion of cafes and restaurants in close proximity including: Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Sri Lankan, Thai, Japanese, Lebanese, Middle Eastern, Turkish, Jewish, pizza parlours, hamburger joints, and more. Most of them will deliver. There are two large parks within 5 minutes walk of the house, where you can walk, sit amongst the trees and flowers, or exercise around the track. Our court is close to the Nepean Highway, which is a large, high speed arterial road with good public transport, and goes from the outskirts of the central business district through Moorabbin and other beachside suburbs to Frankston. There is good public transport, both bus and train within close proximity of the house. There are a number of car rental companies within easy walking distance, including Budget, Hertz, and Europcar. The area is well serviced by taxis, limousines, and Uber. The house is situated in a very quiet small secure court close to all amenities, including local stores and large shopping centres, Universities, TAFES, Training Centres, beach, parks, restaurants, public transport, Churches of all denominations, a Jain temple in walking distance and a Synagogue also very close by. We are surrounded by parklands; within walking distance, or short drives away. For car enthusiasts we are 10 minutes walk from Pete's Mustang Rentals where you can rent American Muscle Cars, Mustang and other. You can enjoy top down motoring to the burble (and bellow) of a powerful V8 engine in an iconic Muscle Car. We provide breakfast cereal, tea, coffee, milk, and toast for your morning breakfast Because we share the kitchen, the room only suits single persons.
