Saborsko is a special country-side village in Croatia located on top of a mountian range called "Kapela". APARTMENT VUKOVIC: The apartment (house) is located in a beautiful place called "Saborsko" on the way to the National Park Plitvice Lakes (17km). Saborsko is a special country-side village in Croatia because it's located on top of a mountian range called "Kapela". Enjoy your stay in a quiet, green and peaceful environment while breathing in the cleanest air. It's perfectly suited for larger groups, or for a romantic couple. The house is surrounded with a huge green yard and plenty of trees with flowers from all sides. On sunny days fire up the barbecue to make grilled meat or vegetables and enjoy. We promise you to be the perfect hosts as recommended by numerous guest from different websites including Airbnb. LOCATION: The place is called Saborsko and the apartment address is "Senj 70", the apartment name: "Apartment Vuković". The problem is that your GPS won't find this address because of the name "Senj", witch is actually a place somewhere else in Croatia. So, the apartment is located in the middle of Saborsko, on the main road, It's a beautiful small village on a mountain range. You just need to drive through the village cca. 4km on the main road, and you will see the apartment next to the road. There is a big black table with "Apartment Vukovic" written on it; it's next to the entrance of the apartment's front yard. Guests have access to all amenities the apartment and it's surrounding has to offer. We (the hosts) meet you at the apartment on your arrival and hand you over the apartment keys. We live in the same place. Sometimes, we leave the keys for guests somewhere safe so that they can get inside if we don't meet them at the time of their arrival. The apartment is located in a small village on a mountain range. There is a mini market/store 300m away from the apartment in which you can buy essential groceries. If you want to buy meat/fish/bread etc. for barbecue, i suggest you to buy it on the way to the apartment. The apartment is in a quiet place, and the atmosphere is intimate. If you like nature you will definitely like it. It is a perfect stay far away from a city like jungle, but close enough to the national park Plitvice Lakes. We recommend: - Visit to the unique NP PLITVICE LAKES located approximately 18 km away from the house. - Visit to RASTOKE a watermill village situated where the blue-green water of river Slunjčica flows into the Korana river. 40km away. - Visit CAVES OF BARAĆ. Get familiar with how nature bestows us with this pearl of water underground. 25km away. - Visit to the town OGULIN 48 km away where various events are held. We recommend: IGRA KOLO folklore festival, held the last weekend in May and the first weekend in June. FRANKOPAN SUMMER NIGHTS: From 25.6-25.7 Multicultural festival of classical, pop and folk music. Come, see andexperience. - Visit to KARLOVAC. Located about 70 km away from the apartment where you can visit one of the largest in this part of Europe Freshwater Aquarium. One can see more than 100 species of fish that live in Croatian rivers. Parking je u velikom dvorištu objekta. In the village of Saborsko there is one main road so that moving and finding the route is very simple.
