Casa Pero close to Biella

The house is located in a very old classic piedmontese closed courtyard. Very quite and silent , ideal for relaxation and deep sleep. The house it's on the ground floor. The kitchen/lounge area its a big space where you can sit and relax cooking and drinking. First bedroom can be used as a lounge as well as bedroom. There is also a armchair that can be used as a bed. The other room has got a double bunk bed and a nice desk for writing or studying. Bathroom with just fitted new shower. The house its located in a closed countryside courtyard, very silent at night but also very quiet during the day. The back of the house is facing the garden and the bush so no one is around during the day or the night, sometimes little animals comes around like small roe dear. You can get into the garden at any time. You can contact myself anytime for help or advice for activities or place to visit around the area. There are many pathway in to the bush around the house where you can walk around without using a car. The people living in the courtyard are very discrete and at home most of the time. They like dogs and cats. Some of them are wondering around the court but they don't harm or bother anyone. Nearest train station and bus station are in the city of Biella and Cossato. From Piatto there is a bus to Biella "Linea 310" If you have a car there are many places you can visit within 20-30 minutes drive. At Candelo there is one of the best preserved "Ricetto" Closed wall medieval city. Biella town has interesting sites like Biella Piazzo "Old part of the city" full of nice local restaurants and bars. Near Biella you can visit the Oropa sancuary of the very rare "Black Madonna Statue" and the Sacred Mount full of small votive Chapels. And many natural parks like "the Burcina" and the very unique european "Savanna" called Baraggia. This is a great place for long walking, bird watching and mushroom picking. If you are interesting on arts there are few museum in Biella. Museo del Terrritorio has a permanent collection of local arts from the Celts and Roman time to present and always host specific exhibitions. Museo M.A.C.I.S.T. for contemporary art. And last not the least the Citta' dell'Arte by Michelangelo Pistoletto. Worth to visit it's city of creativity created by Pistoletto. There is also a vast personal collection that you can see and a great Vegetarian restaurant cafe' and book shop. Lost of mountain places to walk and stay in mountain retreat Oropa Monte Mucrone and Bielmonte Panoramica Zega among few. Sky places in winter the closest are Funivie Oropa and Bielmonte, Val D'Aosta its also 45 minutes driving.
