Washer & dryer. A refuge, 20 minutes from Buffalo and the Falls! This two bedroom flat is newly renovated with bamboo floors and two bathrooms: One has an old fashioned claw foot tub and a chandelier, which is excellent for soaking and unwinding. There is an office nook, a futon couch that converts the living room into a sleeping space and internet TV. The back deck, newly built, has a table and chairs for sitting out and enjoying a morning coffee or evening refreshment. The yard and drive are for you to use. The entire flat is yours to use. Side porch by entry door has eating table, grassy patch of lawn and driveway for parking cars. We live blocks away and are here to help if you need it. The house on Thompson Street is in a walk-able neighborhood. There is an active Lutheran church across the street and an old park at the corner intersection with tall shady trees, a Frisbee golf course and playground. A block or so in the other directions are the mansions built by the lumber barons, the police station and city hall, a farmers market and the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum with a working carrousel built there, another small one for children and rides outside during warm weather. The place is set up with children and adults in mind. It is the only museum of its kind inside the original factory. It is a terrific stop for all ages. There is a lot to walk to. North Tonawanda is a small city in the suburban ring around Buffalo. There is no public transportation here, given the small size. The best way to the Falls is by car. The area is also served by Uber! We have lived in this apartment through the winter and just moved into our new house on the other side of the park. We have loved living near the historic Pinewoods Park and across the street from the Lutheran church. The neighborhood is friendly and safe.
