"Deer Haven" New Castle house with a serene view

Welcome to our little "Deer Haven" sanctuary. We decided to turn our special place into a vacation home for others to enjoy as much as we do. This is a ranch style house with the most incredible views of the Hogback mountain range from the backyard. It is located a few miles out of town to give some extra peace and relaxation after your adventure filled day. The house sits just three miles from I-70 but is tucked away with a beautiful pasture and expansive land surrounding. Wildlife is everywhere, especially the sweet family of Deer that live in this neighborhood. There are several fawns in the area right now, which is so precious. You can also see a large variety of birds of prey along the Colorado River. Fishing, hiking, jeeping, skiing, and rafting are just some of the fun activities that are plentiful in this part of Western Colorado. We have furnished this house with all new appliances, bedding, furniture, etc. So we ask you to please help us keep this space clean. No shoes inside the house, no parties, no smoking, no fires of any kind (candles, fireworks, etc.). We want our guests to enjoy the quiet and tranquility of this beautiful area. You have access to the house but not the garage area or shed out in the backyard. There is a lockbox for guests to enter. We do not live in New Castle, but can be easily reached if needed. There will be a fee if keys are not returned properly to the lockbox. Check in time is 5:00pm unless communicated to me prior to arrival. Checkout time is 11:00am. As I mentioned, this is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and the wildlife is abundant. Please use caution when driving. The deer that live out here are very use to people being around, but we ask that you simply enjoy their beauty and not feed or disturb them. We can not allow dogs because of their uncertain behavior around the wildlife. There are also coyotes in the area and we do not want a pleasant vacation to turn into a nightmare. There is no public transportation that can get you to our house, (some guests have taken an UBER to the house) but we do have ample space for cars to park. The local grocery store, gas stations and more are just 3 miles back down the main road you came in on. We hope you enjoy your stay if you choose to join us at our "Deer Haven" sanctuary. *A new swamp cooler has been installed, but we do not have central air conditioning *We can't stress enough how important it is for you to keep an extra eye out for the deer that live here especially if you are driving in the dark. They are along the road as you are arriving into the neighborhood and in the yards. These beautiful creatures are VERY important to us and we do not want to have any of them hurt.
