JACKSON'S COTTAGE....A special place to stay....

Jackson’s Cottage was once home to past generations of my family and this is how it takes its name and now lovingly restored to a luxurious finish that makes it a special place to stay. Standing at the foot of White Nancy a local landmark where people love to hike and take in the views of Cheshire. Bollington is a short walkwith its popular restaurants, pubs and shops. Perfectly situated for exploring the Peak District National Park. Also dog friendly ( one dog) with a secure garden. To the front of the cottage is a lovely small secure walled garden and to the rear a large secure private garden with patio and outdoor rattan furniture perfect for alfresco dining. BBQ with starter pack of charcoal is provided. ~ The lounge with wood burning stove including starter pack of logs/ kindling, oak floors , comfy sofa, comfy chairs and TV/ DVD makes a perfect cosy relaxing space. Large selection of books, local maps/walks etc. ~ The kitchen area has flagged floors, Stoves multi fuel range , large fridge freezer, integrated washing machine , dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and other small kitchen utensils. There is a lovely old pine table and four chairs and under stairs storage space. ~ From the kitchen , stairs lead to a large landing with extra storage/work space, and bedroom 1 which has a king size bed including Juliet balcony with beautiful views over the Cheshire Plain. And the advantage of stunning sunset views ! ~Bedroom 2 /double bed and feature fireplace with lots of storage space. ~ Bathroom with bath/shower/toilet and sink. ~ All towels / quality bed linen, complementary guest soap and basic toiletries for duration of stay are provided. ~ Wi-Fi , Dab radio and bluetooth speakers are provided for your entertainment. ~~~~Little extra's~~~~ ~ Welcome hamper on arrival containing locally sourced bread and milk and seasonal special treats.... Coffee ,various teas , sugar and jam. A starter pack of logs is provided and details of local stockists can be found in the guest book. (Website hidden by Airbnb) well behaved dog is welcome - extra £15 charge per stay payable at the end of visit. Includes bowls, towel and doggy welcome pack. Dogs allowed only downstairs, stair gate provided and not not left unattended for long periods. ~ Parking on roadside. Main line railway station Macclesfield/ 4km , Manchester 25 mins/ London Euston 1hr 40. More information about restaurants, pubs , shops and local services can be found in the guestbook Preferred access is through the shared ginnel to the left of front door which takes you to the garden and back door which leads straight into the kitchen. There are outside lights for both entrances , switches for these are inside near both doors.
