3 bed charming fisherman's cottage in the picturesque village of Cadgwith, very close to beach, Inn, shops & cafes, spectacular scenery from the coastal paths. Enjoy alfresco meals in the south facing garden & explore the beautiful beaches. Up to two dogs welcome. Parking space and wifi. Features of this cottage date back to the 16th Century, the staircase is believed to have been salvaged from a shipwreck. The cottage has ample room for guests, with 3 bedrooms, lounge area with woodburning stove, dining area, two shower rooms (one with w.c.) and additional w.c. The whole house, garden and parking space. We live at the top end of the village so can be on hand if needed. Pebbles is yards from the beach and also close to the village pub. There is parking alongside the cottage. Cadgwith Cove is a beautiful fishing village, one of the last few coves where the small boats work from. Cadgwith featured in Monty Hall's 'The Fisherman's Apprentice'. The coast path walks from the cove are spectacular and dogs are allowed on fishing beach all year round. Cadgwith Cove Inn is a great family pub with a roaring fire in cold weather and sea shanties most Friday evenings. The food includes local fish and shellfish and The Old Cellars is famed for its cream teas and freshly made donuts. Cadgwith Cove Crab offers delicious crab sandwiches - you can even try spider crab. Cadgwith is close to the Lizard Village - five minutes by car or an hour's walk across 'double hedges'. We are happy to advise on local walks, restaurants and places to visit. There are two parking spaces for the cottage, one directly alongside it and another a few yards away. There is a bus service from Ruan Minor to The Lizard and Helston. The nearest train station is Redruth or Penzance. Up to two dogs welcome - please advise us at the time of booking if you will be bringing a dog. We do ask that you don't leave your dog unattended in the cottage. The garden is lovely but it is not escape proof.
