Oakvale in Hartley - Enjoy a country escape!

Elegant country glamour. Escape to Oakvale in Hartley, a substantial country residence. Relax in both formal and informal zones. Swim in indoor saltwater with its own dedicated pool house (solar heated in Summer ONLY- swimming only in Summer) Hand feed our inquisitive alpacas and sheep. Stroll down to Hyde Park a beautiful natural swimming waterhole. Guests are welcome to use the front gardens and formal garden in front of the guesthouse. At present the gardens at the backyard of Oakvale are not available as landscaping and works are not complete. The gardens available for guest use are in excess of 1 acre. Guests are welcome to feed and interact with the sheep, alpacas, chickens and dogs while the host is present. This is easily arrange via a message or text. Guests may not enter paddocks with the livestock without the host. I really enjoy meeting and chatting with guests. I am only a text or an airbnb message away. Once I have welcomed guests, I leave it up to the guests to initiate interactions - be it advice on local attractions or requests to play with the dogs or feed the animals! At present the back yard is not available to guests as landscaping is not complete. Guests are welcome to use the extensive front garden and young formal garden. ( available garden space approximately 1 acre in size.) The laundry is available through arrangement with the host.
