The Sawmill Cabin

The Sawmill Cabin is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Mill Spring, NC. It is 10 minutes from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, 10-15 minutes from Tryon and Saluda, Lake Lure, and 1-26, and 30-45 minutes from both Hendersonville and Asheville. It is situated on 80 peaceful wooded acres but very close to lots of outdoor fun!! Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are just a short, beautiful drive away along the Green River. The Sawmill Cabin has space for up to 5 guests. The main bedroom has a king bed. The loft has a full bed and a twin bed. There is one bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready if you decide to stay in and eat! There is plenty of space for lounging and relaxing in the living room or on the covered porch with a fire pit. The cabin has been completely renovated by our family using wood from our property and sawmill. Hiking waiver attached to reservation: "Trails: Tenant and Tenant’s guests shall be able to use the hiking trails on the Property (“Trails”). Tenant acknowledges and understands that use of the Trails may involve certain risks (“Risks”). These Risks, include, but are not limited to: uneven paths; loose rocks; tripping and/or falling; reptile, insect, and other wildlife bites; encounters with wildlife; extreme temperatures and/or weather; dehydration; and sunburn. Tenant assumes the Risks, both known and unknown, of using the Trails. Tenant understands this assumption of risk is binding upon his or her heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or successors in interest. Tenant also acknowledges and understands that Tenant’s use of the Trails is subject to the hold harmless and indemnity provisions set forth in Paragraph 13 herein." Mill Spring is a quiet little place to return after a big day of hiking, kayaking, trail riding, mountain biking, or just hanging out in the mountains. There are also beautiful vineyards for wine tasting right around the corner!
