This unit is decorated with a vintage feel and offers 500 sq. ft with 1 bedroom and 1 bath. Guests will find a comfortable living room with love seat and two chairs, electric fireplace and Direct TV. The bedroom is lovingly furnished with soothing colors and provides a queen, innerspring mattress. The bedroom has views of the Paper Goods Pond. There is a walk in closet on the hall. The bright and cherry kitchen is complete with apartment sized stainless steel appliances and granite counters. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a home cooked meal. The bathroom has plush towels and start up amenities such as shampoo, soap and lotion. (Guest staying on extended stay will also receive start up supplies). Guests share a washer/dryer with Pond Side Retreat unit 2W. The property offers ample off-street parking. There is a large yard with sitting areas including a grill (seasonal) and covered porch overlooking the historic Paper Goods Pond. Guest can either arrange to meet one of us in person for their keys. If we are not available we will leave keys in the lock box and provide code prior to check-in. We enjoy saying hello and getting to a little bit about our guests but we also respect your privacy. We work full time and travel ourselves. Most often you will meet us during your stay however at times our transition assistant will have prepared your unit for your check in. We have optional weekly and monthly cleaning services should you wish to order during your stay with us. This area offers a home away from home feeling while being very convenient to all major highway on ramps. Berlin is a suburban town which is adjacent to the City of New Britain. Berlin is the geographical center of the State of Connecticut. We are 15-20 minutes to New Britain, CCSU, West Hartford, Farmington UCONN Medical, Middletown. We are 25 minutes to Downtown Hartford and 40 minutes to New Haven. Amtrak train station is walking distance from property. The station now offer the new New Haven/Springfield line with stops in Hartford and along the route. This is our home and we both work during the day.
