Self Contained, Cozy Riverside Cottage

A self-contained cottage in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, an AONB, where you can escape the stresses of everyday life. Relax in the Mediterranean style garden with the sounds of the river flowing close by while enjoying a BBQ, and a sun trap courtyard for an alfresco breakfast. There is an award winning pub a stones throw away, where you can enjoy food and drink, and a local shop which provides home-baked goods and all you could need for a picnic. The self contained cottage is adjoined to an Italian styled garden with lots of seating areas to enjoy the sounds of the river. Close by is an award winning pub, shop and many stunning walks for the energetic and the not so energetic. Our guests will have access to our Mediterranean styled potager garden and courtyard. Guests will not see me, but I will be available for any questions/ problems through Airbnb messaging. The village is very friendly and there are beautiful walks in the surrounding area, as well as beautiful drives with stunning views There is free parking outside the property. Bring your bikes as the area is very popular with cyclists. There is a safe place to park your bikes. Taxis are available but will need to be booked at least an hour ahead. The train station is 20 minutes drive away where trains run frequently to Exeter, Plymouth and beyond.
