Apartment "Oblatno" Villa Bosković, Bigova

Enjoy your seaside holiday in an two room apartment with private bedroom and small kitchen in the living room, with beautiful terrace overlooking see and pine trees. Guest can use large garden, at their disposal is a large kitchen and BBQ area. Beach is less then 100m away as well as the center of fishermen s village and two restaurants. Parking for 7 cars behind the house. Excellent ADSL WiFi in all rooms. I live in separate apartment in Villa Bošković and I am always available unless I am leading a scuba diving group. Villa Bošković is in a quiet street with mostly private houses just up the hill from main beach and village center where you can find one shop and two restaurants. There are 3 supermarkets and gas station 10 km away. Public beach and village center area is 70m from the house, it is a gravel/concrete beach ideal for small kids. You can rent parasol and deck chairs or just bring your own beach gear. Other beaches are rock/concrete and worth exploring but you need bit of navigation, ask us and we will explain. Take note that there are "private" beaches just in front some posh villas just by the water. By the law no one cant buy or own waterfront (if its less 12m away from the water) it is a public space but some house owner are using their house position to discourage random tourists using them. All the beaches are rock/concrete. By the public beach is also small marina, pit stop for sailing boats, yachts and local fisherman. You can eat fresh fish in two Bigova's restaurants or just have coffee or a snack in city center. If you dont mind walking for 20-30 min to get to the other side of Bigova bay or drive for 10 min you can enjoy ex military resort beach and overlook the village and iconic mountains or Montenegro. Unfortunately no toilets or showers there anymore and be sure to take drinking water with you. If you are for a hike climb to the whats is left of the bungalows and the hotel and if you want a glorious view go to the top of the hill. On the way discover old heliport and long time abandoned bunkers and then gorge your eyes on the landscape of open sea on one side and clouds hanging over the highest mountains on the other. Have in mind that place is not used for more then 10 years and that nature is taking it back, paths and steps are mostly visible just watch your step and you will be fine. We have a free parking spot for each apartment behind Villa Bošković. If guests need a transportation form Tivat airport /12km away/ or bus stations in Kotor, Tivat or Budva, we can arrange for local taxi service to pickup you up. Bigova is a small village inhabited with local fishermen (20 houses) and tourists (50 houses) during the season, has one small grocery shop and two restaurants. It is nautical destination for small sail ships and yachts. Bigovo is 12 km from Tivat international airport. If you are coming from Budva which is some 30km away, you need to find sign BIGOVA and then turn right towards the sea side drive 10 km up and down the hill to get to the village . There is no local bus transport directly to Bigovo. Bus between Budva-Kotor/Tivat can drop you off on the main road at the cross road leading to Bigovo. Just tell the driver in advance to stop there, among locals that cross road is also known as "Jugodrvo". I am certified diving instructor M1 CMAS category and can organize diving trips and courses for experienced and beginners. Available to help with tips and tricks to get around the cost of Montenegro and avoid local tourist traps. We can also cook for you if you don't want to bother with making breakfast or lunch. Can also organize a BBQ for you; fish, sea food, meat, vegetables... Tell us in advance what you like and you will make you affordable and memorable meals.
