Cosy chalet, near to castle and beach, 4 guests

Our cosy chalet is on a child-friendly site, with a children's play area and access to countryside walks. Within a few minutes walk of the chalet is a Mexican bar and a hotel serving meals and drinks with stunning views of the estuary. The chalet is open plan with a kitchen, dining and sitting area, with picture windows overlooking the area, with views of the countryside. There is a decked area outside with seating provided to enjoy the views. There are two bedrooms, a twin and a double room, and one shower room We live locally so we are quickly available if there are any problems but will not intrude on your holiday There is free parking within 100 hundred metres of the chalet, down a slight slope. The site is about 6 miles from the town of Carmarthen where there is a range of supermarkets, cinema, cafes and leisure centre. If you go 2 miles the other direction you reach the village of Llansteffan, known as a hidden gem of Wales with long beaches and a castle to explore. There is a shop, 2 cafes, 2 pubs and fish and chip van which is located on the beach. Nearby is Laugharne, famous home to Dylan Thomas, further afield are the stunning beaches of Pembrokeshire as well as attractions such as Folly Farm and Oakwood Although there are local buses, a car is probably necessary to access the chalet site and the local area.
