Nobby's Cottage is a stand alone apartment in the grounds of the main home. It has a spacious single bedroom/living room with a couch, workstation/dining table and en-suite toilet & shower. Leading off the living room is a fully equipped kitchenette. The property is located in Glenwood a quiet and leafy central suburb of Durban, only a 10 min drive from the beaches and the City's main attractions. Restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping centres and public parks are all within walking distance. Nobby’s Cottage is a quiet and comfortable getaway which is also very well located. There is quick and easy access to all the Durban tourist attractions as well as to the North / South Coast and Central highways. Shopping Centres, Restaurants, Coffee Shops , Bars and Take-away Food Outlets are within walking distance. Beautiful neighbourhood for walking and running. Close to the Universities and Hospitals. A comfortable bed plus a work station / dining table and TV make for a relaxing stay. It is very secure with a free, on premises, single parking spot allocated for our guest's use. Free WiFi is available with good connection. Guests have access to the backyard veggie garden area with garden bench and table. As a retired grandfather of two Mike is able to assist you during your stay in Durban. He also offers an airport shuttle pick up and drop off service should you require it. The property is located close to the University of KwaZulu Natal (Durban / Howard College campus) and is also close to the Nelson Mandela Medical School, the Albert Luthuli Medical Hospital and the Technical College. The immediate neighbourhood is a quiet residential area and is ideal for walkers and runners to get out and enjoy some exercise. There is a vibrant entertainment district close by with a variety of restaurants, take-away's, coffee shops and local pubs. We are in an ideal central location close to the Beaches, International Convention Centre, the Rugby, Soccer, Cricket, and Swimming Sports Stadiums as well as the uShaka Marina complex and the Wilson's Wharf harbour waterfront entertainment areas. There is secure off street parking available on our premises for guests who have their own transport. The local bus transport system which services our area is close by and is well supported by the various Taxi Operators, including an efficient Uber Service.
