Our Place is in Mawlynnong, which is very beautiful Khasi Village and Also Nominated as cleanest Village. Living Root Bridge is 2km from mawlynnong which also can be walked. The cottage is 2 mins walk from main parking lot of mawlynnong. The cottage has 2 rooms, Each room is rented separately for guests. But if required both rooms also can be connected by opening the connecting door in between rooms. Both rooms has separate entrance. We also can assist and guide for rest of meghalaya . This is a Bamboo cottage, Quiet comfortable with good space in the room Thouh its basic, it has attached toilet with western toilet & geyeser for hot water. The cottge has 2 rooms, both have separae entrance, also connected interconnected with a door in common wall. This door can be locked to manage privacy of each separately or keep open to connect both rooms. Guests have total access of cottage for the room/s they have booked. host / caretaker at location will be available most of time to take care of any requirments for guests. MAwlynnnong is being cleanes village of asia , its very beautiful towalk around in thevillage. Also it look like garden. There are certain viewpoints/machans in mawlynnong to climb on and get view of village and also bangladesh plains as its also a border area of village of India and bangladesh Border. Inside mawlynnong there is small rootbridge that can be trekked for 20 mins maybe , this root bridge is bit offbeat and very less tourists know about it, so one can ask locals for the way to reach it. 2 km from mawlynnong ,there is Riwai village, where there is one famous living root bridge which is strongest,oldest and widest. 3 km from mawlynnong there is one village named Nohwet, where there is beautiful valley viewpoint to see whih is named as Nohwet Viewpoint. All the vehile those comes in mawlynnong are parked in parking lot of mawlynnong. cottage is 2 mins walk from parking lot. Mawlynnong is 3 hours drive from Shilong 3 hours drive from cheraapunjee, 6 hours drive from guwahati. Cootage is made very simple and with eco friendly material to get unified with natural surrounding of the village.
