This Place is Special! My (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Victorian has been 100% renovated for Guests to enjoy their Atchison visit in nostalgic style with all the modern comforts! Gather the Family in the bright kitchen/ relax in the cozy living room. Parents and their BC Students have room at the “Belle”. The sitting room is converted to a cozy 3rd bedroom for 2-(Daybed + trundle) A Family of 6 can stay and not be cramped in 2 expensive hotel rooms! Girl's or Couples getaway? Honeymoon?Weddings? Reunion? Of Course!! The Entire living areas are all on the main floor-and easy access thru back entrance for Senior Travelers! The attic and the basement are not accessible to guests. The “Belle” offers 2 large bedrooms with queen beds- the 10X10 sitting room (off the back bedroom) has been converted to a 3rd bedroom with twin daybed with a pullout trundle-so invite your Students to skip the dorm and join you at The “Belle”! Enjoy the bright modern bathroom-easily accessible from all 3 bedrooms -enjoy it’s heated tile floor during our chilly Atchison Fall and Winter mornings. Share a Family dinner on the handcarved teakwood table by the bay windows in the dining room under the beautiful antique brass chandelier. Enjoy the portraits of “Honest Abe” -our 16th President- (and wife Mary) who was elected in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) the same year the “Belle” was built! Gather in the large-bright inviting -fully stocked kitchen- enjoy complimentary coffee fruit and treats -or make a big Family breakfast while planning the upcoming events of the day! The warm original hardwood floors invite you onto the modern comfortable sectional in the living room to relax with the entire Family while watching TV or choose a DVD from my extensive selection. Enjoy my vinyls and CD’s from the 60’s- 80’s! Enjoy the morning sun with your coffee on the covered front porch- then later that evening-head to the private back deck for an evening BBQ while enjoying the beautiful landscaping for an evening of peaceful reflection. Be sure to take a spin on the “His & Her” cruiser bikes to Benedictine College- the MO River-or explore downtown Atchison- ((It’s downhill BOTH ways- LOL) Make your Atchison visit a memorable and affordable one, while enjoying your entire Family -together- at “The Atchison Belle”. My Guests have access to the entire house. I offer off-street parking behind the house! A well lit-signed- rocked 2-car parking space is provided! Guests take the lighted rocked path through the beautiful back yard to the back deck with french doors having keyless entry. Additional parking is also available in my 2nd rocked driveway leading up to the 2 car garage doors! I have two security lights on both sides of the garage and lights all around the guest parking areas as well as lights along the rocked pathway through my backyard! string lights around the entire fenced yard add to the ambience of your evening at the Belle! I actually enjoy living at The Belle when she is not rented! This insures that any repairs- improvement ideas are completed by me on an ongoing basis! Although I’d love to meet ALL my guests- I am away during your stay so you can enjoy my home with your entire Family and make life-long memories at “The Belle”! Less than 7 blocks to Benedictine- Downtown Atchison- and the River area. 25 Minutes to Weston - 20 to Snow Creek and only a 35 minute drive to KCI airport! The outside fence-porch lights-foyer lamps- are all on timers to go on at dusk until midnight! The Hurricane lamp in dining room goes on at midnight until dawn to serva as a cozy nightlight! (Feel free to turn off the indoor lamps if not needed or wanted during the evening) I also provide full access for my guests to the thermostat to ensure your temperature needs are set to your comfort!
