Cockermouth, Large home, ideal for stay cation

Lovely Large 4 bedroomed house, only a 10 minute walk down the hill into the town. 3 double bedrooms, and a large single, will easily sleep 7, (can now sleep 9, with 2 using a sofa bed) 1 bathroom & 1 shower room. Very large garden, ideal for children. Secure storage for bikes, kayaks etc available on request. Nice local pub right over the road. Only 20 minutes into the heart of the Lake District, or 20 minutes to the coast, 30 minutes to the city of Carlisle. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Large house, with full use of a large well,equipped kitchen, utility room with fridge freezer, washing machine, downstairs toilet. Attractive dining/living area. Very large lounge with lovely large sofas, large screen TV, and wood burning stove, patio doors from lounge onto the patio area, with seating area. Large extensive gardens. 4 large well decorated bedrooms, with lots of hanging and storage space, a large family bathroom, and separate shower room. I live locally, will probably be able to meet you when you arrive, otherwise I am easily contactable throughout your stay. Papcastle is a quiet hamlet right on the edge of Cockermouth, so have the luxury of being quiet and rural, but only a 10/15 minute walk into the centre of town, where there a several lovely restaurants cafes and wine bars, and many individual gift/ interior shops. The local pub is only 20 metres away if you don’t feel like cooking. Good access to main roads, A66 and A595, in the heat of the lakes within 15/20 minutes. Keswick 25 minutes.The coast and seaside only 20 minutes away, Carlisle city centre 30 mins. Buses run from the end of the road, only 50 metres away. Bus stop 50 metres away from the house. 10/15 min walk to town, excellent vehicle access, with free on street unrestricted parking for several vehicles. Easily accessible from the main roads, A66, A595. Trains run from Workington, and Maryport, Aprox 8 miles from Cockermouth. Good local taxis, but book in advance.
