2nd story apartment with all the amenities! It comfortably sleeps 4 - 5 and is a true retreat from city life! Close to Snowshoe,Greenbrier River Trail, Cass Railroad, and Green Bank Observatory, but truly private on end of road. Restful and rejuvenating! Welcome to MindEase Retreat! We designed this apartment to be the type of space we would want to stay in as a couple, a group, or a family. MindEase Retreat features: Open floor plan, new construction Hardwood floors/carpet Hardwood ceilings Kitchenette features microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, electric burner, and slow cooker (by request) Sleeps up to 5 with one queen bed, and full bed/twin bed bunk bed set. Writing/Computer Desk Free WiFi Television with ROKU and DVD player Telephone with unlimited long-distance Books and DVD library, family games Close to grocery store, gas, pharmacy, and liquor store Apartment is over detached garage Private entrance, end of road plenty of parking Full access to 7 acre yard Kayaks/life jackets (add'l rental fee) Fire pit (wood for sale on site) This unit requires the use of stairs, not wheelchair accessible Although we are animals lovers, we cannot accommodate pets in this apartment. We live in the main house, and will be available at check in and for any questions about the space or the area. Otherwise, we will leave you to your own time. You may see us and are welcome to join us outside anytime! We love living in the mountains here in Pocahontas County, WV and will be glad to provide you with any directions or recommendations for things to do and see. We are often outside so you may see us as you come and go, but we are not intrusive whatsoever and very respectful of your privacy! If you love outdoors and nature, this is the perfect place for you! No light pollution, so the stars are amazing! Do you like to kayak? We can help arrange for your kayak trip on the Greenbrier River and even rent you kayaks! Like to bike? The Greenbrier River Trail is a 100 mile 1% grade trail 2 miles from the apartment. Hiking? everywhere! Fishing? Skiing? Snowshoe Mtn Resort is 20-25 minutes north. It's all close and at then end of the day, you still have privacy and a place to relax and unwind! Cass Scenic Railroad, Green Bank NRAO also close and incredible places to visit! There is no public transportation in the area. There is basically unlimited parking Children are welcome The apartment does not accommodate pets 3 outdoor cats on premises 1 generally outdoor, unleashed, friendly dog named Wilson also on premises.
