The main living space is open plan, fully equipped Kitchen with oven, microwave, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, wine fridge and breakfast bar. large Dining table and comfortable sofa area with 75" tv with sky and BT sports. Also has a log burner. The second living area, has a sofa (sofa bed) toys and board games area including a table tennis. This room has double door access to the patio, and is also separated from the main living area through double doors. The master Bedroom, with a SuperKing size bed, is on a Mezzanine level above the Kitchen. The second Bedroom, can be configured as a King Size bed, or two singles. Outside on a large patio area there is a gas bbq, outside dining and sofas for relaxing. Secure onsite parking. The historic market town of Saffron Walden is 10 mins drive away. Market day is every Tuesday and Saturday. Close by is Audley end house and Cambridge is a 30mins drive away. The closest Village is Newport which is a 2 min drive, or 18 minute walk. Newport has a very well stocked Village shop, Bakery, 2 Pubs, Petrol station Indian Restaurant and a spa. Newport train station is at the end of the road, less than 2 min drive, or 15mins walk (up hill on the way back!). Direct train line to London (55 mins), or Cambridge (26 mins) from Newport. There are quicker trains from Audley End station which is a 7 min drive away. We will greet you and show you around with a few notes, we’re available on the phone, message or (Hidden by Airbnb) or simply walk over to the main house and there’s normally someone around. You might even see us around so just ask or stop for a chat, we are friendly with guests. Newport is a small village with a few essentials a well stocked Nisa, bakery, Indian restaurant, pub and more pubs in surrounding villages, petrol garage and spa. Mostly you will need a car, but there are lots of footpaths for walks and it is possible to walk to the nearest village of Newport and the train station.
