Basecamp Neumann NH (Dog Friendly)

Great place for all of your basecamp needs. Hiking, snowmobiling, skiing , or ATVs, we bought this house for its location. We are avid hikers and love the outdoors. When we travel we try and rent a private house over a hotel. The thought of having all the comforts of home makes traveling less stressful. We bought this 90 year old house August of 2018. We’ve tried to think what would make our house a comfortable place someone would bring their family and well behaved dog. Pet fees are $40 per dog per reservation. We have a maximum of 2 dogs per reservation. Our insurance does not allow us to host these breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Chow Chow, Doberman, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, or Staffordshire Terrier. Please do not bring one of these breeds with you. We also do not allow any other animals including cats. Our home has an outdoor security camera facing the driveway. Our home has 3 bedrooms. The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and an attached full bathroom. Upstairs we have large bedroom with 2 XL twin beds. We can set this up as a king bed if you request it. The second upstairs bedroom is a small bunk room with bunk beds. The bunk room is suitable for children or small adults. The two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with an original claw foot tub. There are two dining spaces in the house. There is a dining nook in the back of the house off the kitchen. It has an electric fireplace and looks out to the wooded back yard. There is a pub table located on the front porch. We are located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. There are many activities in this area. Skiing, snowshoeing and golfing at Bretton Woods is less than 10 minutes away. Just 15 minutes away you can Ski Cannon Mountain in winter or ride the aerial tramway year round. Located next to Cannon is the Flume Gorge. Loon Mountain and Attitash are just 30 minutes away. Bretton Woods is the closest (8 minutes) for skiing. We are close to many attractions including Santa’s Village (17 minutes), The Mount Washington Cog Railway (15 minutes), Clark’s Trading Post and Whales Tale (30 minutes), Story Land (40 min) helicopter tours, breweries, sugarhouses, covered bridges, Upper and Lower Falls, and AMC’s Highland Center as well. There are many other outdoor activities including snow shoeing, ice skating, cross country ski trails, hunting, fishing, fat bike trails, snowmobiling, golf, swimming, tubing, fishing, and boating to name a few. If hiking is what you want, we are minutes to a plethora of hiking trails including Cherry Mountain, Owl’s Head (not the 4000k), North and South Twin, Zealand, The Sugarloafs, Galehead, Hale, Garfield, Pierce, Jackson, Avalon, Tom, Field, and Mount Washington to name a few. There really is something for every outdoor enthusiast. Dogs must be housebroken. You MUST use the designated area for you dog to do their doggie business and you MUST clean up after your pet. Dog breeds that shed are NOT permitted on any furniture. Please bring a dog bed and crate if you plan to leave your dog alone in the house. We are available by phone, text or email during your stay. We may be in the area camping, hiking or backpacking or we may not. Self check in. We will provide the door code before you arrive. Cleaning fee is for a standard cleaning. If the house requires extra cleaning due to the condition it is left, additional cleaning will be charged at a rate of $40 per hour. Firewood for the fire pit is provided. No need to bring your own wood.
