Peaceful gite on farm in the Aveyron SW France

The Mas De Clamouze is a farm with 25 horses in the beautiful countryside near Asprieres in the Aveyron. It borders the Lot Valley and has many beautiful villages within easy driving distance. Horses are available to ride! The farm has 60 acres and a beautiful valley where guests are welcome to walk, and see the local wildlife and birds. Plus there are horses, dogs and sheep on site! The owners are English and live on site and are very happy to help with local knowledge, and where to visit. The gite sleeps 10 guests in 4 separate rooms. A family room, with a double bed, and an adjacent twin room, and a shower room (sleeps 4 in total). Then 3 twin rooms all with their own shower room. The gite is decorated with typical french rustic charm. There is a huge dining table that seat 12, and a seating area with comfy sofas. There is a working kitchen with 2 ovens, and 2 fridge freezers and 2 dishwashers. Outside there are 2 terraces with seating areas, in the shade, one has an outdoor drinks fridge. Wifi is included. There is a 10m pool with outdoor seating and tables for eating, plus an outdoor shower and toilet, and a spit roast for parties. All of the gite and surrounding land is available to guests. The English owners live on an adjacent property and are always around looking after our 20 or so horses. They are very happy to help with questions, and advise on where to visit. There are many beautiful villages and towns within easy driving distance. Belcastel (30 mins drive) and Conques (45 mins drive) are categorised within the top 10 of the prettiest villages in France, with medieval castles and churches and amazing restaurants. Most of our guests go for days in St Cirq lapopie, Rocamadour, the south west of France of full of medieval towns. Plus there are nearby Grottes (caves) at Foissac, and Padirac. Asprieres itself (1km away) has a local restaurant, and small shop. There are many tracks for walking and cycling from the gite. A car is recommended for visiting here as we are in a rural location for peace and quiet.
