The perfect blend of Coast and Country, the area is a Walker's delight, boasting the enchanting Jericho Valley beach walk, National Trust beaches and the renowned 16th Century, 'Miners Arms' Mithian Village pub. As experienced hosts with our previous property which attracted excellent reviews, we are delighted to offer you a wonderful stay at our new home. Driftwood holiday home has a fully equipped kitchen, an airy and modern open living space, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom with an enclosed shower. With outdoor seating to enjoy the sunrise in the morning, it really is the perfect holiday to home to feel relaxed. Driftwood also has parking for 1 or 2 vehicles, outdoor space for bikes/surf boards etc. St Agnes is a very pleasant 2 miles walk through quiet country lanes and footpaths. Trevellas Beach is another magical walk from the property, which then connects to the main St Agnes beach at Trevenaunce Cove with attractions such as the Driftwood Spars (CAMRA Cornwall Pub of the Year). Driftwood is perfect for walkers, cyclists and couples who want to explore the Cornish coast and return home to peace and relaxation! The famous Miners Arms Pub in Mithian Village is a short amble away and food and drink is served daily with a wonderful beer garden and really friendly staff. A 40 minute stroll through Cornish footpaths and a beautiful valley will bring you to Trevellas cove, a hidden gem of a beach in Cornwall. From here you can access the coast path and the options are endless in terms of exploration! (lots of maps and ideas at Driftwood to help you plan your adventures should you want to!) A short 10 minute drive will take you to Truro where you will find a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and Truros magnificent cathedral. There are many footpaths accessible from Driftwood, you really can park up and leave the key cars on the sideboard for a week if you wanted to! There are foot paths that take to to beaches in St Agnes and Perranporth and when you arrive at Driftwood there will be a holiday guide book for you so that you can find the footpaths and start exploring! Alternatively if you prefer to drive to the nearest beach it will take you approx 5 minutes.
