Zip World Snowdonia Zip World offers a unique range of activities within the Snowdonia National Park, including zip lining, underground quarry exploration and trampolining deep inside a former slate (Website hidden by Airbnb) of their most popular activities is the zip line known as Velocity. This zip line is the longest in Europe, and boasts the title of the fastest zip line in the world. You’ll be flying at speeds of well over 100mph, so it’s certainly not an activity for the faint hearted! For those who manage to take in the view whilst travelling along the zip line, you’ll experience rewarding panoramic views of the quarry beneath, Anglesey and even the Isle of Man on clear days.If Velocity seems a little bit too much, Bounce Below should be your next choice. You’ll be taken down by train into a former slate mine which has been converted into a trampolining paradise. Atmospherically lit and featuring six levels of trampolines as well as four slides which are the height of two double-decker buses, it’s a fantastic day out for everyone. 2.Snowdonia Railway There are a number of steam train railways which take visitors along on scenic routes around the Snowdonia National Park. One railway in particular is the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which travels up and down from the summit of Snowdon each day. Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway gives those who aren’t able, or don’t want to climb a steep mountain the chance to witness the impressive views from the summit. The Ffestiniog Railway has been in business for over 150 years and stretches for 40 miles through the Snowdonia National Park. The railway service allows its guests to enjoy the beautiful sights from the comfort of a traditional steam train carriage. They have a range of full and half day journeys available to choose from. 3. Dragon Raiders Activity Park - Paintballing in Snowdonia The Dragon Raiders Activity Park is a 30 minute drive away from the holiday park. It offers a range of activities, from paintballing to group segway rides. If you can get together a group from the park, their paintball park is a brilliant day out.Set within 30 acres of Welsh forest, there are four specially designed paintball zones to explore. There’s also a shooting gallery to test your skills and prepare yourself for the day ahead. For those who don’t like the sound of paintballing, the Dragon Raiders Segway Adventures are a fun way to navigate through the surrounding forests. You can choose between a relaxing forest trek and an off-road rally trek, but don’t worry – you’ll receive a gliding suit to prevent you from getting too muddy! 4. Greenwood Forest Park This unique adventure park has a number of interesting attractions, including the UK’s first solar powered water ride and the world’s first people powered roller-coaster.There’s also the BareFoot Trail, which encourages you to get your socks off and safely walk through a range of different environments.
