Maragudiko (old carpender's workshop)

On the edge of the picturesque traditional village of Agrafoi –built on top of a hill in northern Corfu, amidst the greenery and absolute tranquillity– lies "Maragúdiko": an old carpenter's workshop (gr. "maragúdiko") that was turned into a home with tons of love and thanks to personal work on the part of the owners, as well as with respect to the environment and the local architecture. The house is located 100 meters from the centre of the village and 30 meters from the last house. Covering a floor area of 90 m², the house consists of three bedrooms, 1 living room with two sofas, comfortably accommodating 8-10 people (ideal for large families or groups of friends), 2 bathrooms with shower units, an outdoor shower kit and a comfortable and fully equipped kitchen, along with a large 48 qm terrace. The house is surrounded by a field of 2,800 m², planted with trees, offering absolute relaxation for the adults, plenty of space for the kids to play, as well as parking space for the cars. The peaceful and welcoming locals are ready to answer any questions you may have about the place – and even more than that. In the village one can find a mini market as well as a coffee and grill house. Visitors can walk around, revering both the picturesque alleys of the village and the many paths that surround it, steeped in the green of the nature. Car is necessary. There is a local bus also, passing twice a day. Bus stop at center of the village. The nearest beach is 5 km away, while Corfu town and the airport are 33 km away.
