Swallow Barn Glamping - The Cwtch

Our exclusive, luxury bell tent 'The Cwtch' (meaning Welsh for cuddle) can sleep up to 5 people and consists of a double bed, 2 x single futons and a roll out bed. It has a large decking area, fire pit, log burner and beautiful views. Great access for Bike Park Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park. Ideal for couples, families and small groups. All bedding (apart from towels) is provided and a basket of wood for the log burner and a bag of BBQ coals for the BBQ. Each tent has it's own log burner and BBQ. We have a undercover BBQ area, camp kitchen and shower/toilet blocks. We can offer you information about where to go as there is plenty to do in the area. We are within walking distance of 4 pubs - 3 serve food. We can also provide you with local walking and cycling maps. We are located in Quakers Yard, which is steeped in Welsh history – the farm dates back to the 1600s and was a safe house for the dissenting Quakers at the time to meet to avoid persecution. Many of those early Quakers then went on to set up home in Pennsylvania. The views from the farm are spectacular and the tents are near to a working sheep farm. The barns are also home to an amazing array of birdlife, swallows and wagtails are a common sight in the summer. There is a bus stop just outside the farm and train station 2 miles away We are very near to Bike Park Wales and Brecon Beacons National Park
