This 3*** Guest house is located in a hamlet, at 650m high, within the Natural Park of the Livadois-Forez. It is located on the 116 km from the road 'Tour de Pays', 5-7 days. PS : see conditions below for bedsheets and cleaning More info when you look for "La Chapelière" The house is spacious and boasts 3 rooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and cathedral-type living room on the first floor. You will also find a TV, video tape player with video tapes, books as well as board games. Internet is available throughout the house if you need to check your emails ! A garden is in front of the house and comes with a barbecue. By car or motorbike or even bicyle! Nearest village for foodshopping is about 5km away. We'll do whatever is in our power to greet you upon arrival, as we live in Riom (next to Clermont Ferrand, about 1h drive), where we also have a guest house. If you've booked a stay in summer, there is a high chance that we'll be there, as our holiday home is a stone thrown away. Our guest house is in a hamlet on the mountain's flank, at an altitude of 650m. If you are looking for quiet holidays, the calm and the many hikes from the house will please you. The location is ideal is you want to discover the area: the Aubusson lake, the cutlery museum in Thiers, the Chaise-Dieu or the castles... as well as the many roman churches around. You can't have both the quietness and the airport :) Needless to say it is better to come by car or motorbike, but in case public transport can get you up to Olliergues. From there, a 5km walk will bring you home. The accomodation is not suitable for animals. Check in is available from 3pm until 8pm. There is no specific house rules, we kindly ask you to fulfil the cleaning duties if you've not booked the option. Anything broken should be replaced and cleaning products used should be refilled. We're very active and enjoy meeting new people - we left Paris and the region in order to live a more intense life. For the past 30 years, we have travelled across this region and finally decided to stop over the summer in the Forez mounts. Today, "Riom le Beau" is on our route and we fell in love with it. We're 100 % from Puy de Dome. Reading, walking and friends around the table : this is how we like to live.
