Sitting atop a small hill with glorious bush & mountain views is our bright & airy home nestled in a private large garden Full kitchen with everything you need Hooded BBQ. Fish filleting bench All linen provided A huge deck to enjoy all your meals while listening to the tuis & bellbirds. A quick stroll along the inlet gets you to the main town of Collingwood with cafes, Tavern, general store, post shop & boat ramp 2 Kayaks for you to explore the river, inlets, bird life & maybe a fish for tea! We are close to Collingwood township but tucked away in a beautiful serene setting. A stroll down the hill and into town for delicious coffee & a bite to eat in one of our cafes....all are different to each other but all are delightful A short drive South (the way you came) maybe 5-10 minutes is the Mussel Inn We are also next door to Collingwood tame eels (gold coin entry) Short scenic drives to all our famous beaches (Pakawau, Wharariki Beach, Farewell Spit) cafes or take a drive into the hills to the famous Langfords Store, quaint as! Beaut coffee & delicious cakes! On your way up here check out Weka Work Shop....Amazing furniture, bits and bobs all hand made...a must see! Further up the valley is the start of the Heaphy Track. Heading West is spectacular scenery, Westhaven Inlet, gorgeous rock formations & beautiful beaches. Friendly hosts happy to assist as needed but will not intrude.
