Stunning Waterside Cottage

Waterside Cottage is the former stables block for Stronachlachar House located on the bank of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has recently been renovated to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment in which to enjoy the National Park and the surrounding area. Waterside Cottage sleeps 6 comfortably. Pets are welcome with the Owner permission . Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure. The cottage is located in the very heart of the Trossachs. As a result the cottage has a fantastic backdrop. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher. The living room has a TV with Sky TV. The area is remote and not all mobile networks have good coverage in the area. There is a master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite, along with two twin rooms. If you like hillwalking you're in luck. Just walk in a straight line away from the Loch and you will be going upwards within 5 minutes. There are cycle routes all around the area with varying degrees of difficulty so there is something for everyone. A short drive from the Cottage you have a range of outdoor activities ranging from golf to watersports to tree top adventures. If you don't want to do any of that your well within your rights to stay at the Cottage and read a book by the log fire. Safe to say there is something for everyone when you stay at our Cottage. Everything, the house is yours for the duration of your stay. Waterside Cottage is a self catering holiday accommodation and we use a keysafe system. We can be reached by telephone or email. The area is very quiet and being situated on a private road there is next to no passing through traffic. It's the perfect get away from a busy city. The best way to experience Scotland's beautiful and impressive countryside. There is no public transport in the area, so you will have to bring your car (or hire one) to get to the cottage. Minimum stay 3 nights from Friday or 4 nights from Monday. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure. The Cottage is semi detached and there are other properties nearby. There isn’t any public transport to the area.
