SunRay Farm, Duxbury - a charming 3 bedroom Cape

Located on one acre of land, a short drive from Route 3, Duxbury Beach, village and restaurants, including Marshfield's Webster Square. Perfect for couples & family/friend gatherings. Cozy, warm, attractively furnished 3 bedrooms, 1-1/2 baths, open kitchen/living/dining area with a fireplace, separate cozy den with a sleeper sofa and tv, back deck, & fabulous outdoor shower for warmer months use. Our 2 very friendly indoor/outdoor cats, plus a gorgeous flock of chickens share the property. We took ownership of this 1976 Cape Cod style home shortly after it's only owner passed in 2017. Over the last 3+ years we have given our 6th Duxbury home a good dose of desperately needed TLC. Improvements including interior painting, upgraded stainless kitchen appliances and upgrading the upstairs full bathroom. While it is still a work in progress, we take great pride in our home and are excited for this spring to continue our efforts outside with more landscaping accents. We promise you will find our home comfortable and quite a sweet spot to visit during your time in Duxbury, and the surrounding area. Our cats, Sunny and Pierogi, are members of our family and enjoy interacting with our guests. So if you, or somone in your party, are either allergic or not fond of cats then this rental may not be the best option for you. We also have Otis, a sheepadoodle (old english sheepdog/poodle mix), who is considered non-allergenic. He will not be on the premises during your stay but feel it is important you know that a dog lives here as well. Our chickens aka 'the ladies' (no roosters in the flock) are happy, friendly hens who produce delicious, beautifully colored eggs daily during warmer months. The wire chicken shaped basket on the kitchen counter will hold plenty of eggs for your consumption during your stay. When renting the entire house, our guests have full access to the house and property. The washing machine and dryer are located in the basement, if needed. When possible, I prefer an initial meeting with my guests to show them around the house and make introductions to the cats. A detailed letter is always waiting on the kitchen counter with instructions for the a/c and heating, lights with automatic timers, great places to dine, places to visit and any other miscellaneous items. During your stay I am always available by text, or phone, with any questions. If I am out of town, I will make sure there is someone on call. Our home is located close to Route 3 for easy access to Plymouth, the Cape, Providence, Boston and Logan Airport. A cranberry bog in our neighborhood has perfect walking/running trails. The best way to get around Duxbury is by car. If you don't have a car for this trip, Uber and Lyft are available. The nice neighbors next door and behind our house are appreciative of respectful noise levels, we ask for no parties or late night loud music. Thank you!
