Modern Bach - Private waterfront access + Kayaks

Modern architectural kiwi bach nestled on the edge of a tidal lagoon between Ligar Bay and Tata Beach. The Bach is a cosy, compact 50sqm with a large sheltered and covered deck with all day sun and a master bedroom that links on to a compact lounge and ensuite bathroom, dining and kitchen area from either side - all with full views of the water. The main bedroom has an ensuite with a double door so if extra guests are staying in the pod they can access easily from the outside. 2 guests sleep comfortably inside the queen bed in master bedroom and if needed theres also a pull out sofa in the main lounge. 2 extra guests or kids can sleep in the sleeping pod that is 2 metres from the main house also with views of the lagoon and beyond. The pod is fully powered with plywood walls and ceilings, a fold out office desk, drawers and a queen sized bed. A walk down a 5 metre path and you can use the supplied 2 kayaks to launch straight into the lagoon at high tide and paddle out to the nearby swimming holes, Ligar Bay and Tata Islands directly from the property At low tide it's a 2 minute walk across the sand to nearby Mermaid Rock - a beautiful family friendly swimming beach with shallow water and rope swings for the kids or you can walk round the road at any time of day. The popular golden sand of Tata beach is a 2 minute drive away (10 minute walk) and is great for days lounging in the sun or taking the boat out. The huge lawn in front the Bach is great for Badminton, kubb, or kicking a ball around with friends. Theres ample parking off the road for at least 3 cars - or you can bring your boat if you want - theres plenty of fish in the bay. The place is minimal for a reason - we believe in an uncluttered life and hey - you should be spending your time outside exploring the bay! Theres no TV but there is internet for all your Netflix and streaming needs. We find guests spend most of the time lounging on the outdoor deck and if it rains, theres plenty of cover so you can eat, drink and socialise, taking in the stars, moon and sea and keep dry and warm. It's compact inside with the kitchen, dining table and lounge all in one room. You then step up to a private bedroom with ensuite. There's a fully private hot outdoor shower as a second option to the inside one. It's great for washing the sand off after a dip or just if you feeling like getting back to nature. The compact design means it heats up great in the winter with the two electric oil filled radiators. One is in the pod and one in the main house and perfectly toasty for even the coldest of winter nights. It's a great place to escape, forget whats on the other side of the hill and enjoy the beautiful golden bay life. all parts of the house.
