Holiday home on Tiguert beach - right by the pool

Presenting our lovely beach house in Tiguert! It has a great location and there is a genuine and relaxing atmosphere and a gorgeous beach. You can dive into the swimming pool basically from our private garden! Only unit w/ private dining / BBQ area! 320 days of sunshine a year makes it the ideal place to go for sun, sea - a perfect holiday! It is situated 12 km north of Taghazout (15 min) and 33 km from Agadir (only 30 min) - close to some of the best swim & surf spots in Morocco. Welcome! This holiday complex really is one of the best in the stretch of coast north of Agadir. Many people say our house has the best location in the whole complex "Les Meridiennes" - being right next to the pool and so close to the beach. It feels more like a private house than an apartment - with gardens around 3 facades. We are the only house with a large, private terrace for sunbathing, dining - with built-in barbeque and lovely seating area. There is a huge patio right outside the gate that surrounds the pool! You can enjoy beautiful views both over the sea and towards the mountains. Location Only 30 minutes north of Agadir, on the way to Essaouira. It is approx. 1 hour from Agadir airport. The complex is straight on the gorgeous beach. Blue fishing boats go out at sea in the middle of the night and bring their catch back during the day. Crystal clear waters, lovely for swimming, snorkelling or playing on the beach. Children catch small crabs in the cliffs - and a barefoot football match in the sand is popular at low tide. There are 61 apartments in total - but it is a quiet place and feels very private. There are 2 pools (one shallow pool for children), sunbeds and a shower by the pool. The nearest village is the banana village of Tamri - 10 minutes north - where you can eat in local, small food stalls and buy the essentials in the genuine Berber market. Going south 7 minutes the village of Imi Ouaddar provides restaurants, food shops, a very lively fish market where they have fish auctions and you can buy exotic fish and sea food. There is even a large Aquatic Parc (great fun for all ), a luxury Yoga & Spa hotel (with cash machine) and a large camp site. A little further south there are several golf courses. There are very cheap local buses going north (to Essaouira via Tamri) and south (to Agadir via Imi Ouaddar, Taghazout and Aourir) - but a rental car is much easier (you will have free, safe parking in the large garage). As Agadir is so close it is ideal to explore during the day and return to the tranquil Tiguert by night. Agadir is a large city with everything you need - even a crocodile park, a small zoo, jet ski, quads, surf, shopping, markets, restaurants etc. The pretty and quiet location, the beach and pool, the fresh air, the people, the lovely atmosphere makes it an ideal holiday location! Facilities We are a family of 4 - and as we use the house for our holidays we have furnished it with everything you need for a good holiday. The kitchen is well equipped with a very good fridge, juice maker, knives, kettle, coffee maker, tagine, pots & pans and all you may need. There is an iron, ironing board and linen provided for your stay. Right by the house there is a huge patio so plenty of space for children to run around. Includes cleaning upon arrival. When you stay in our house you will have your own parking space in the large garage. There are 2 bedrooms with wardrobes. Master bedroom is en suite, there is a shower in that bathroom. There is a separate toilet and bathroom (with bath tub). Both bedrooms have sliding doors leading out to the terraces. The good quality sofas in the open living room fold down so one can sleep on them. However - these are maybe suited for children or adults staying a few nights (as they are in the open livingroom). We have a big dining table with chairs in the house + tables and chairs for the 3 terraces. Clothes lines to dry your towels after a day at the beach or by the pool. In the back there is a large terrace surrounded by lush, green plants and herbs. This is a perfect terrace for privacy. Sunbathing, eating outside - and there is a built-in barbeque - the perfect place to spend the summer's evenings under the stars. Feel free to help yourself to some rosemary from the garden! SO tranquil and beautiful. Local buses run just outside the complex. Buses running to Agadir, Taghazout and Essaouira. If you prefer a rental car we'll be glad to help you with a trustworthy company. By the beach there is a small cluster of fishermen's houses and a few small "hanout" / local, tiny shops. Here you can get pretty much everything you need (basic supplies): Fish (of course), water, juice, fresh bread, vegetables, oil, fruit, snacks, sweets etc. The fishermen bring in freshly caught fish from the sea every day - you can buy fish from the boats or from their little fish shops.
