Large comfortable family home in western suburbs. Lots of space and parking. Places to hide. All rooms are doubles but have floor space for a camping mattress. Secure fencing. No pets. People who must smoke are requested to do so down wind of the property. Quiet neighbourhood. Light and airy rooms. Large sun room for meals. We even have a campervan for overflow guests or those who want their own space and private kitchen. Kitchenette and sunroom available to guests for socializing and meals. Ideal jumping off point for Gold Coast theme parks and beaches, 70 minutes to Toowoomba & Darling Downs or Coolangatta Airport and only 90 minutes to Sunshine Coast. 25 minutes to Brisbane CBD. 20 minutes to Ipswich CBD. 40 minutes to the Scenic Rim (and I mean Scenic) and 35 to 45 minutes to Brisbane Airport. Bicycle to hire. No car? Ask Mike to drive you. We are a friendly inter-racial retired couple who like traveling and using Airbnb. Lucy speaks Visayan and Tagalog. They stop early in the evening and run only hourly. You need a car at night. 2 minute walk to bus. 3 km to train. 3 km to motorways. Flat enough to cycle. You can catch trains to Brisbane, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports, Train and Bus to Toowoomba and Darling Downs and all theme parks. Goodna station has free parking exclusive to off peak travellers from 9 AM. Free peak hour parking also available but be early. The buses are not very good. They stop early in the evening and run only hourly. You need a car/cab at night. Flat area in fastest growing suburbs in Australia. Cycling is easy. White Rock Conservation Area is close by. New Mining Industry Memorial at Redbank is interesting. Trouble with stairs? Ask if the ground floor room is available. It is a little more expensive.
