The Lakeside complex features a huge retail park and the 'Boardwalk' which has various restaurants and nightlife venues such as a large Vue Cinema, Bowling, Puttshack and ‘Battle Bar’ Axe throwing. Chafford Hundred Gorges are nature reserves in the heart of the Chafford Hundred housing complex which is close by. The main reserve is a chalk quarry with lakes and scenic views. There are numerous parking spaces outside the front of the building. When you reach the end of the close you can turn left to park in 8 spaces, or turn right towards the garages and there are a further 10 spaces. They are not allocated so you can park in any available space. Most residents choose to park in the road for convenience, however there are more than enough empty spaces available and you will have no trouble finding somewhere. Lakeside Shopping Centre is close by including the 'Boardwalk' which offers lots of restaurants and night life. Lakeside Shopping Centre parking is free and the car parks are open 24 hours a day. Chafford Hundred station is a 15 minute walk away. To save time, you can drive and park in the Lakeside Multi Story car park closest to House of Fraser and walk across the sky bridge to get to the station. The station only has one track which can take you directly into London within 30-40 minutes and to Southend-On-Sea within 50 minutes.
