Wirruna Hill
The name 'Wirruna' was derived from an Aboriginal word meaning “place of beautiful sunset”. We are 15 min drive from town and situated among over 35 cellar doors in the Mudgee Region. The farm is on 65 acre with stunning views overlooking the Botobolar valley. There is a fire pit which is a great place to watch the sunsets and take in the amazing stars at night. The spacious accommodation is equipped with everything you need including a log fire to keep you warm for the winter months. The cottage is very spacious with a log fire for the colder months, including electric blankets for both the queen beds. There is a large fenced yard and a tar sealed driveway to the door. Quests have access to the entire farm and can enjoy bush walks on the property. Also enjoy the fire pit during the winter months and take in the amazing stars at night, the stars are better when there is no moon. We are situated just 15 minutes from town centre in a very picturesque valley putting you in close proximity to most wineries. I can arrange transport to and from town for those guests that do not want to drive. Camera lessons can be arranged with our local professional photographer for landscape, sunsets and taking pictures of the amazing stars that can been see at night.
