Set on its own in 1.4 acres of beautiful garden, surrounded by Essex countryside; 77 minutes by train from London and 6 miles to the beach. There are usually 2 options. The BnB option (price generated) is currently not available due to Covid. The complete cost for Sole Occupancy inclusive of all fees is £888 for 1 night and £1423 for 2. There is a spare double metal action John Lewis sofa bed in the lounge enabling it to be a nighttime or dedicated 7th bedroom. > A wooden cot with a 'mamas & papas’ Mattress is in bedroom 4 > 3 travel cots can be in any bedroom. > The fully equipped kitchen has seated 22! > The conservatory is heated so can be Enjoyed in all weathers > The lounge has a TV with freeview & a log burner Bedroom 1 (10.6 sq m) is a cosy L shaped room on the ground floor, overlooking a private, mini herbaceous border. As it's next to the front door you have privacy. The shower room is diagonally opposite. If you prefer a bath there is one upstairs. Bedroom 2 (7.6 sq m) This is opposite bedroom 1 : in addition to a double bed, 2 single or 1 double 'flop down' sofa can be installed here First Floor Bedroom 3 (8.3 sq m) 2 windows with views over the back garden and field. A double bed and single futon Bedroom 4 (5.4 sq m) looks out onto the field and has a wooden John Lewis 1984 wooden cot with a 'mamas & papas' mattress Bedroom 5 (10.7 sq m) Looks out to the front. A charming oldy-worldly room. A double bed and single futon Bedroom 6 (12.9 sq m) Views to the front. Real double bed and a double futon Conservatory The most popular room in the house with seating for 15 and 2 sides of open views to the fields and garden There is a John Lewis spare metal action in the lounge enabling it to be a dedicated or night time 7th bedroom Monty (1982 4 berth caravan) £65 Retired to half way down the back garden after many years of faithful service Monty has 2 double beds inside and a seating area outside. Monty has absolutely no facilities or utilities and NO cooking or heating appliances are permitted inside for safety reasons. But in the warm weather Monty is popular with guests who want a real camping experience or parents who want to give their teenage children such! All accomodation can be used by guests: Shower room; bathroom; kitchen; conservatory; lounge and sitting room. The most popular space in the sunny weather is the patio and garden. The conservatory is popular all year round. If you're stay is for BnB whether you prefer to be left alone or like to socialise I or my deputy will be here to ensure you have a perfect visit. If you rent for sole occupancy you will be met and shown around the house. In true rural style you just put out your arm and they stop. On the way back, just alert the driver to where you want to be dropped TRAIN Thorpe-le-Soken mainline railway station is 1.7 miles from the house. There's an hourly train to London Liverpool Street which takes 68- 75 minutes. I'm happy to pick you up FERRY Harwich International Port is 13.6 miles PLANE Stansted: 45 miles Gatwick 97 miles Heathrow 105 miles WALKING There's a network of public footpath which can be accessed from the house on foot.
