La Maison Bleue, a Rural Gite in Deux-Sevres

La Maison Bleue is our 2 bedroom gite, sleeping 4 people. There are two steps up into the converted barn, which is then all on one level. There is a double room, a twin room and a shared family shower room. Large open plan living area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Private garden outside with patio table, chairs, parasol and BBQ. Lezay is a lovely market town, 8 minutes drive from Forest Gites with lovely coffee shops, supermarket, pharmacies and banks. Melle is 15 minutes from us and has 2 large supermarkets and some lovely Arboretum walks worth exploring. Forest Gites is between Niort and Poitiers both accessible by car without using the toll roads as well as La Rochelle for a day by the sea. There is farm traffic but the roads are much quieter for cycling and walking. La Maison Bleue is part of the gite complex Forest Gites. The 12 x 6m swimming pool, games room and play area are shared with two other gites which sleep 2 and 5 guests. Each gite has its own private garden area with BBQ, table, chairs and parasol.
