Fresh country air on a horse ranch

Small horse ranch with great views! The price is for two persons. Horseback-riding possible On an idyllic and secluded horse ranch in a convenient location (10 min car ride from the Ljubljana Airport / 20 min to Ljubljana Center / 2 min to the major route A8) we offer a double and a single room. The rooms are located on the ground floor of our farmhouse, giving much privacy from our family’s living spaces upstairs. The nearby Slovenian Alpine foothills, with its original beauty, a soothing setting for eye and mind, are ideal for physical outdoor activities in the fresh air. The location is ideal for travelers searching for a one-night break, as well as for tourists looking for a base for exploring the entire country. You can reach most of the nicest parts of Slovenia by car within one to two hours. Ljubljana is easily accessible also with the public transport. A healthy, rich, fully vegetarian breakfast will make you fit for an active day. In front of the house you will find a simple wooden bench, where you can enjoy the clean fresh air, listen to the enchanting chirping of birds, have a look on the beautiful green meadows and fields or enjoy the company of our seven horses. They belong to the Appaloosa breed, are kept clean and humanely in an open stable in contact with each other, and are very interested in humans. With their beautiful appearance they are a feast for the eyes. Parking for one vehicle is included, and Wi-Fi is also provided. You have your own bathroom next to the rooms. We like to show you our ranch and tell you some words about the horses and the area. Our ranch is located in the small village Dobruša, which belongs to the municipality of Vodice about 10 km north of Ljubljana. Still dominated by agriculture, sociable village life and a rich fauna and flora, it is a little hidden paradise with its fantastic alpine panorama. Parking for one vehicle is included, and Wi-Fi is also provided. Public transport is active Monday to Saturday. The bus from Ljubljana railway station takes less than 30 minutes to arrive in Dobruša and will drop you off two hundred meters from our house. The bus trip costs 1.60 € using the Urban card (used for public transport in Ljubljana). Children are warmly welcome
