White Dog Lane is a working farm with cattle, sheep, miniature goats chickens, & our guardian Maremma Dog Lucia. It is a tranquil piece of paradise only 15 mins drive to Albany & 25 mins to Denmark. Amazing tourist spots: Natural Bridge & The Gap, Whaling Station, Anzac Centre & Wind Farm are all close by. Beautiful beaches such as Mutton Bird & Cosy Corner are also just minutes away. Elephant Rocks 40 mins.The Homestead Room is ideal for 1 or 2 couples or small families of 1-2 children. Enter the Homestead from your own private entrance with breathtaking farmland views. Continental Breakfast is provided with: Muesli, Yoghurt tea, coffee etc... Your Homestead Wing is completely private & separated from the main house. (One connecting door is locked to allow our guests complete privacy.) Both bedrooms overlook tranquil farmland and a small dam with cattle grazing. The bedrooms share a private lounge/dining area, one large bathroom with bath & shower & a separate toilet. Also shared laundry. Guests will enter via their own private patio and entrance. Guests can feel free to wander around the farm at their leisure. We will be happy to help you with any inquiries or information you require, But otherwise we will leave you to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of our farm. Susanne & Brian are usually working on the farm & will be available most of the time if there is some information we can help you with. If time permits Brian can show you aspects of the farm & you may even be able to help at feeding times. We are centrally located between two amazing tourist towns, with numerous attractions for the locals & visitors alike. 17 mins drive to Albany & 25 minutes to Denmark. Albany has a spectacular coastline e.g. The Gap & Natural Bridge, beautiful beaches which through the winter months whales can be spotted from shore. Tourist attractions include the old Whaling Station, the old farm at Strawberry Hill,National Anzac Centre with WW1 Memorial at Mt.Clarence, Porongurup National Park with skywalk at Castle Rock etc.... The picturesque town of Denmark also has stunning beaches including Green Pool & Elephant Rocks, Ocean Beach...Many relaxing wineries are in this area & Denmark is only about 30-35 minutes from the world renown Treetop Walk Albany has Taxi & Bus Services. We have the Munda Biddi Trail running along the front of our property, so guests are welcome to bring their bikes. The farm has a lot of walking options with a lane down to the River, & for the energetic guests a longer walk to the lake & estuary. The Munda Biddi Trail also runs directly in front of our property. We are also 1 km from The Elleker Store & Tavern which has essential items & is open daily.
