Or, if you prefer relax around the pool with your evenings spent gazing at the stars from the wood fired hot tub. There are Plenty of outdoor cooking facilities and dining for you to enjoy. Traditional and charming, this 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom is an ideal retreat for for a romatic break for one or two couples. The main room is the lounge, diner and kitchen - All in one. Upstairs, you have a mezanine double -en-suite bedroom, with exposed beams and slopping ceilings and charming windows, this is a great place to watch the stars, The en suite has a full bath with hair shower over, sink and toilet. Back downstairs you'll find a further 2 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed and 1 with twin beds plus a full bathroom with bath, shower over, toilet and sink. Externally, there is swimming pool open from May to September only, hot tub open all year, table tennis, petanque sets , darts board and card games. we can also provide you with pick-nic basket. Please ask for details. Swith of your phone, relax and just enjoy the sounds and smells of the country. Gaze at the stars from the wood fired hot tub, enjoy a book aroud the pool or from one of the many seating areas. Take a walk through the forest and enjoy dinner in the external covered dining terrace. There are so many ways to just switch of and enjoy your time here. . You have your own detached house, shared use of external facilities The owners are occasionally on site and are on hand if you need anything. We are available on site some of the time. External facilites may be shared with guests in the larger house Set in a small hamlet just outside the main village you are surrounded by fields and forest. Peace and tranquility are all around with beautiful views of the valley and the peaceful noises of the animals in this countryside setting There is so much to explore nearby should you wish to explore. The river and lake beaches surround us with the nearest just 10 minutes away. The beautiful town of Saint Aulaye is 15 minutes in the car and Riberac, Aubeterre and Chalais all 20 minutes. Furhter afield and approximately an hour away you have the beautiful cities of Perrigeux, Bergerac, Bordeaux. Remotely located yet close to major attractions. The nearest supermarkets are 20 minutes away in the towns of Saint Aulaye and Riberac. Further afield you have the major cities of Perigueux, Bergerac and Bordeaux all around an hour. There are three beautiful river/lake beaches all close by. The furthest is 20 minutes away and a great selection of bars and restaurants to chose from dependent on the season This is a great place for a couples retreat.
