The flat is located within the main house with shared access but otherwise fully independent with a separate staircase. The house is Edwardian, built in 1913, and retains its original features. West Terrace is a cul-de-sac leading towards the popular Craeg Bhaeg summit. The flat is light and airy with a good wi-fi connection. Please note there is no TV. There is parking available outside the flat. The flat has been recently fitted with a new kitchen. The kitchen has a window seat and table with views out onto the garden and woodland. We provide high quality bed linen and a set of towels for each guest. The flat has a Bose SoundTouch 10 Wireless (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) speaker system. You are welcome to make use of the garden and woodland. You can also feed the chickens if you want to! We are a family with 3 young children, we are generally at home and are happy to help with any questions you may have. You will find lots of printed information about the area in the flat. Kingussie is excellent for walking and biking. Cairngorm Mountain, Scotland's largest ski area, is a 30 minute car journey from Kingussie. Kingussie has a number of coffee shops located on the high street, a 10-minute walk from the flat. There are a number of other restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The Highland Wildlife Park is a 10-minute drive from Kingussie. The Highland Folk Museum is in neighbouring Newtonmore. For mountain bikers a visit to Laggan Wolftrax is a must! We are a 10 minute walk from Kingussie railway station. If driving, Kingussie is located directly off the A9 south of Aviemore.
