Looking for a peaceful getaway on the river? Look no further than our beautiful Virginia river house. Enjoy two beautifully decorated homes, comfortable beds, and an absolutely gorgeous view of the river. Bring your boat and this will be the perfect hub. We have a ramp nearby and room on the dock to tie up your boat. Fishermen will love our dock! Or just enjoy the view and take in the quiet beauty of the Piankatank River! Perfect for trips with friends and families, retreats, or reunions. Our property has two homes. This pricing is for the MAIN HOUSE ONLY. This home sleeps 7 and will likely be the main living area for the group. There are 2 queen bedrooms and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a twin mattress on top. There is also enough room in the sunroom for an air mattress if you need extra sleeping space in the main house. If you need more room, there is also a guest house directly behind the main house (20 feet away.) This house has one king bedroom, 3 single beds in the common area, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. If you would like access to BOTH HOMES, there is a $50/night add-on cost. If you do add on the guest house, you can sleep 5 more people. Please let us know if you would like to add on the guest house in advance and we will request that payment separately. *FYI, We have a pack n' play, a portable baby bassinet, and a toddler cot all available in closets in the main house.* You will have access to the entire property. I will be available via phone at any time. Texting or calling is fine. Downtown Gloucester is a lovely place to stroll. Quaint streets filled with boutiques, shops, and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute drive into the town. There are also a couple wineries and breweries nearby. For day trips, you are only a 45-60 minute drive to Williamsburg/Busch Gardens, Richmond, or Virginia Beach. **The WiFi out here is NOT great. There is no offering for high-speed unlimited WiFi in Gloucester, therefore, it can be verrrryyyy slow. It would not be a good idea to count on working here remotely. We ask that you do not stream shows or movies while you are here to preserve the internet. We have Direct TV with tons of channels that can be used anytime! **The boat on the lift is NOT included in the rental! Thank you so much for respecting our personal property!**
