Breton cottage with Castle and Canal views

Maison de L’ Oiseau is a 400 year old Breton stone cottage tastefully restored. The accommodation consists of a kingsize bed and a cot is available. There is a private bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet and basin. Sky TV in room, wifi and complementary tea and coffee making facilities are offered. A continental breakfast, included and is served on the patio. We also have an additional twin room which can be used by members of the same group, sharing the private bathroom. We pride our selves in offering a comfortable, independent and pleasant service at very competitive rates. For those of you who are travelling by sea with Brittany Ferries we may also be able to arrange a discounted price. The B&B room is situated in a private section of our home, we live on site and can be available should you need assistance. Josselin is a medieval city of character, there are a host of bars and restaurants within walking distance of our B&B. The castle is a stones throw away just over the canal bridge. There is a large market on Saturday mornings and the GR walking and cycling routes are close by. Canoeing, kayaking and boats are permissible on the canal and can also be hired out in season. Walking up in to the town takes a few minutes but can be steep in places. The canal path is flat and excellent for walking, running and cycling. Boats can be moored just outside the cottage on the canal.
