Biring Salu Homestay

Biring Salu means ‘riverside’ and our home is right next to the ‘Sa’dan’ river that flows through the city of Rantepao. We are within easy walking distance of the main shopping area but also just a short walk from ‘Lapangan Bakti’, which is a nice park surrounded with restaurants, food stalls, and coffee shops. We offer a free home made freshly baked bread for your breakfast. And If you like cooking then we can offer you a unique cooking class! For a unique experience in the heart of Toraja !! Our house is simple but complete. You will have your own room with queen size bed, a desk, and a cupboard. The living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom are all shared with us. We can help you to experience the authentic local culture by staying in the heart of Toraja. We also offer a unique traditional cooking class. And for the more adventurous travelers we have some bikes for rent. Our back garden is bordering the river, and on the other side of the river you can see the rice fields. The street is fairly quite and when you walk around 200 meters you will arrive at a nice park with lots of restaurants and food stalls (perfect for afternoon coffee, or diner!) Nearby places of interest are Buntu Singki, Limbong geopark, Londa, Ke’te kesu’, Bolu traditional market, etc. There are microlets (small public transport buses) passing the nearby park, which is approximately 200 meters away from our house. And the bigger bus coming from Makassar stops at approximately 5 minutes walking distance. We have a car and bicycles for rent.
