Spacious accommodation - Casa do Pisão

Overlooking the valley, Casa do Pisão is the perfect setting for a memorable stay. The accommodation is the entire ground floor of the Farmhouse - our home - where you can enjoy home cooked meals, and as the only guests, you will be able to make sole use of all the space and facilities at the property (the pool, fishing equipment, 2 mountain bikes & a family kayak). In addition to our cats & dogs, we live here with numerous ducks and chickens, six alpacas and a small horse. The accommodation comprises an openplan studio apartment, 70msq, with a dining and seating area, an equipped kitchen, and ensuite bathroom. The studio space can accommodate up to 4 guests, best suited for 2 adults and 2 children. Additionally there is a separate double/twin bedroom - not connected to the studio - with ensuite bathroom, and private entrance. The guests are free to enjoy all the grounds and facilities at the quinta. We also live on the property in the farmhouse, but we are a discreet presence. Our nearest village Ázere is a 1km walk away; it has a small cafe which sells fresh bread. Santa Comba Dao train station is a ten minute ride away and we can arrange a taxi transfer (approx E15 per journey) at your request. Breakfast goodies are provided in your kitchen (tea, coffee, milk, yogurt, bread, jam, fruit), but we can also provide a served breakfast in The Farmhouse Kitchen if required (at additional cost). Due to the presence of unfenced terraces and open water, we advise that the property may not be suitable for children under 5 years of age. Internet quality is good unlimited wifi but please note that the mobile telephone reception can be intermittent. We have four cats, three dogs, six alpacas and one pony. And chickens and ducks. Although we live at the property, we are a discreet presence.
