Small but beautifully formed sous-sol apartment in the relaxing french countryside. Maison de Lavande apartment is set in 3.5 acres of private land in a small hamlet 5 minutes drive away from the main N147. (Halfway between Poitiers and Limoges). A comfortable relaxing base with lovely local walking and cycling routes and plenty of places to visit and explore. The apartment is under the main house with its own private entrance, parking area and outside dining and seating areas. A private driveway will take you to the back of the house and the entrance to the apartment with dedicated parking area. We live on site in the main house and will be very happy to answer questions or assist where we can in person. Otherwise we very much respect people’s privacy. Situated in a small hamlet with great views of open countryside and large grounds to relax in. Easy access to amenities and beautiful towns such as Bellac, Confolens, Montmorillon and St Junien. (There are so many more). Historical sites such as Oradour-sur-glane is around a 30 minute drive. Montrol Senard 20 minutes. We are situated a short car drive off the main N147 between Poitiers and Limoges. A comfortable stopping off point for a longer journey or a great base for exploring the beautiful Haute-Vienne. We also can cater for cyclists with secure storage and facilities for washing bikes. We have dedicated cycle racks in a secure garage for anyone with bikes. We offer a clothes washing and drying service for an additional charge. There is a washing line, iron and ironing board available on request. There are meandering pathways cut into the land which guests are free to roam and relax in. Some areas have been left to encourage wildlife which we ask not to be walked on.
