Welcome to Exeter, CA - the gateway to the Sierras! Exeter is 28 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park - home of the GIANT Redwoods. Centrally located, our home is within walking distance to downtown Exeter, known for its beautiful murals, antique shops, boutiques, and eateries. Your guest suite space consists of the whole front portion of the house - 1000 sq ft of living that includes a game/living room, dining area, bathroom, and bedroom. Game Room: You can play a round of pool or use the provided board games and cards for a little friendly competition. There’s a desk in this space as well for our travelers that need to put a little work time in. We also have a record player with a selection of vinyls for you to play at your leisure. The record player also acts as a Bluetooth device should you want to play your own music through the system. There’s also a cozy sitting space by the large window to sit and relax the day away. Dining Area -You have everything to cook a simple meal minus a sink. However, we don't require you clean any dishes as we offer to do that for you. You're provided a Keurig Coffee Maker and French Press for daily coffee and tea with all the fixin's. We provide light snacks in the drawer and a complementary breakfast for your mornings. -There is a mini fridge where you will find a bottle of wine, beer, water, and extra space for your refrigerated items. You also have full use of a toaster oven and microwave. Bathroom: You're provided complementary toiletries and towels, a guest drawer with miscellaneous "oops I forgot" items, a magnifying mirror, and bath/shower combo. Bedroom: -Includes a QUEEN size bed, a garment rack to hang clothing, and a luggage rack. Your room also has a television where you can stream your favorite Netflix, amazon prime, or other entertainment platforms. Netflix and prime are complementary. -If you think you'll be in need an iron and ironing board, please let us know and we'll make sure to leave them in your room prior to your arrival. --You've got 24-hour PRIVATE entry access (yay!!!!!!) via the front door. We want you to have a stress-free vacation so no need to try and make it here at a designated time. Arrive at your leisure anytime after check in. -- Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11AM. If you'd like an earlier check-in or later check-out time, shoot us your request! We'll do our best to accommodate you :) --Upon arrival your key will be provided in the lock box located on the front door. We will send you the combination to the lockbox prior to check-in. We love meeting our guests! Yet while we can't promise anything because of our own schedules, we hope that at some point during your stay we get a chance to greet you. On the other hand, we want to honor YOUR privacy while you stay with us, so if you’d prefer to come and go as you please without interaction that works just fine for us too! Just please feel free to message us if there is anything that we can do to make your stay more comfortable. Check out the many benefits of our location, location, location: -- Your guest suite is located on a safe, quiet street in town. --You are within walking distance to downtown Exeter (3 blocks away yay!) where you can shop and dine and have a good time :) --There is a restaurant (East Meet West) right next door that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. --There is a gas station about 200 meters away. -- This space is one turn away from the main street that connects Exeter to Highway 198, the General's highway that takes you up to the Giant Sequoias. --If you're an avid runner or walker and like to run/walk hills, there's an amazing training hill a mile and a half from our home . Let us know if you want directions on getting there. --If you're an avid cyclist and travel with your bike, you can ride from our home out to some beautiful, serene foothills with minimal auto traffic. Again, let us know if you want more info and we'd be glad to share. You’ll need a car for most places you’ll be traveling. However, if you just want to discover downtown Exeter, you can definitely get there on foot. We live on the back half of the house. Your space is solely designated for Airbnb use. Furthermore, our designated living areas are completely walled off and separate from one another. With a normal amount of volume, there is very little sound transfer between the two spaces. However, loud music does travel between the walls so please be mindful of this and watch the volume after 9pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends.
