Our beautiful 4 bed + Attic sunroom overlooks Nelson Estuary, The Boulder Bank , Tasman Bay and part of the Arthur Mountain Range. It is the original farmhouse [now in suburbia] just 4 km from Nelson. It is a very comfortable bedroom with a pleasant view of neighbouring trees and Tasman Bay. Doors open to the verandah and sunshine! [North facing]. The huge Bathroom is shared with our other listing, the Queens Room. [My wife and I have a seperate en-suite to ourselves]. Renovated 1885 Bungalow. Upstairs is a very warm and private area to read or simply enjoy the fabulous view over Tasman Bay and the Mountain Range. We love to interact but will totally respect guests wishes for privacy. Nelson has SO much to offer! Historically, a strong Arts Community, with numerous Galleries and Venues for Artisits, Potters ,Musicians . Wineries and cafes now added to the mix. Great beach and river for swimming and boating.Mountain biking has become very popular in Nelson, and many new tracks up The Brook and Maitai cater for all levels. A bus to the city stops near bottom of street. Dedicated Cycle tracks go directly to city and beyond. Walk or bike to town [12 minutes by bike...complimentary bikes available]. Walk 30 minutes up hill behind house for outstanding views and exercise! 16 Malvern Ave is about 60metres from the Estuary and Nelson Blenheim Highway yet maintains considerable privacy . We have been here for 25 years and just love it!
