B&B éve - Design loft in the village

The room “néi” in the bed & breakfast “éve” is a design loft with an exclusive steam bath and emotional shower built within the oldest part of a historic building in Charvensod, only 5 minutes away from Aosta. The Aosta Valley dialect word “néi” stands for snow. The room has been named “néi“ because of the lighting that enters the apartment due to the the glass, steel and plastic materials. Lights and volumes created in this environment are a perfect scenario for your experience in Aosta Valley. By the hand of Michele (architect) and the experience of Yvette (surveyor), the space takes shape as if you can read about the historic evolution of the building from a book in which the seventeenth century and the contemporary characteristics coexist. Get into a cloud of steam, let the aromas and the colors massage your senses. Let yourself go into the soft embrace of the sofa. Wake up in the morning and discover the intensity of the local farmers’ work who repeat their centuries-old rite with skillful experience. Our family (Yvette, Michele and the two kids Cloe and Nicolò) is very proud to offer you an experience of alternative wellbeing along with courtesy and privacy. We refuse the anonymity of a meaningless space surrounded by walls. This alternative experience also includes a homemade breakfast prepared only with the natural ingredients our land generously offers us. You will choose between a sweet or salty breakfast which we will bring to your room at the time you prefer. Each breakfast is wisely made for you by Michele and Yvette with dedication. You will discover nature and tradition as you awaken. Our bread is more than just bread because it comes out of the oven while you get up. Our milk is more than just milk because it is collected as you sleep. You will find out that our cakes have the extraordinary taste of things that are made with passion and natural ingredients. The salty breakfast will make you witnesses the traditional ability of our alpine land to create the high quality food that you would expect if you know the Aosta Valley. Now that you have read about the amazing experience you are fully ready to live it! Although the “néi” room is part of a big historical building, it also can be accessed from the outside through a separate entrance. Upon your arrival we will hand the keys over to you so that you will be free to come and go as you please with no limitation. The “néi” room is a duplex apartment, that is to say it is built on two levels: 1) The lower level has a sofa bed, a single pouf bed and a wellness area equipped with a steam bath, an emotional shower and the bathroom; 2) The upper level has a queen-size bed, a glass table for breakfast, a bookcase with Aosta Valley maps and guidebooks and a spacious wardrobe. At no additional costs you will have: > sheets, extra blankets, bath towels (daily change), hairdryer, smart TV, Internet Wi-fi, microwave to make tea or infusions, coffee maker with capsules, sugar, hand soap, tissues and toilet paper. We also have the following items available: > high chair, small bed, iron and ironing board. “... Charvensod is a mountainous village overlooking the town of Aosta and yet it is only 5 minutes away. You will be able to admire “Augusta praetoria” (the Latin name of Aosta) and the “Grand Combin” (a 4314 meters tall Alps mountain). You can wander through the narrow streets of the village and breath the difference in the air while perceiving the “common thread” that combines tradition and innovation. And the tranquility of the place will offer your kids a perfect space to run and play. A strategic position at the heart of Aosta Valley is just: - 5 minutes away from Aosta (by car); - 15 minutes away from the most famous castles which are extraordinary monuments of our heritage; - 20 minutes away by car or 5 minutes away by the cable-car from the well known ski resort Pila; - 40 minutes away from the Pré Saint Didier spa, a prestigious thermal center we are partners with, where you can pamper yourself with hot water that naturally pours from the mountain; - 40 minutes away from the Forte di Bard, which is a fortress and an Aosta Valley symbol of culture and events; - 45 minutes away from the famous localities of Courmayeur, Cervinia, Cogne and Rhêmes which are the keepers of the Gran Paradiso National Park; If you will feel like experiencing the mountains there are endless opportunities to visit shelters, lakes, panoramic viewpoints to observe the local fauna such as ibex, chamois and marmots. If you want to discover our slope you can go for long walks emerging yourself in the nature right outside the loft door. For example, following a 10 minutes trail starting not far from the apartment you will get to the 6th century AD Santa Colomba Church which was built by a gaul-roman family. This is the place where springwater flows, which is the reason why Charvensod was established here. Even children can enjoy unforgettable holiday vacations by participating in fun activities like horseback riding or follow paths from one tree to another one within adventure parks, always with maximum safety. In addition, they will also have the opportunity to learn about the lives of animals and typical local products taking part in activities organized by local farmers. Sheets and towels Sheets are changed weekly and towels are changed daily. Breakfast It is homemade only with natural ingredients and brought to the room at the time of your preference. Room cleaning Room cleaning occurs daily. Additional beds Additional beds cost 15 euros a day and it includes breakfast, towels and cleaning. Loft temperature The loft temperature is pleasant thanks to a high-efficiency heating system which uses solar energy and biomass. Air conditioning is not available as it is not necessary.
