5 mins walk from Stroud train station, the wood clad Garden Studio is airy and modern and surrounded by green. It overlooks our garden, and apart from the trains (only 2 an hour) it’s peaceful but it’s also so close to the pretty hilly town of Stroud. The bustling farmers market on a Saturday is a must-see and the commons and walks are spectacular. There is parking on our drive. To get to the studio please walk down the gravel pathway past our front door. The key hold is by the studio door. Beautiful, modern, wood clad garden studio, tucked away in our garden on a private road but within minutes walk of Stroud centre. The kitchen is a kitchenette, so there’s a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. For breakfast there will be cereal and bread in the cupboard, and milk, butter and spreads. Please let me know if any dairy allergy. Teas and coffee also provided. You can park on our gravel drive (in front of “Studio Parking” sign) and walk along the gravel path to the studio. You can enjoy the decking by the studio but the garden is private. If you have young children I’ll be happy to show you where the swings and treehouse are in the garden. Please email with any questions. I will send you a code for the key hold and you can let yourself in. Please see parking instructions in check-in details Happy to help with any local information you need. I’m generally around and about if you need anything! We are located right in the middle of Stroud, yet surrounded by the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. There are 2 commons nearby (Rodborough and Selsley) and there are 5 valleys which converge into Stroud provide many beautiful walking opportunities and viewpoints. Come and discover this hidden pocket of the Cotswolds! You can walk into town in less than 5 minutes. You can also walk up to Rodborough common in 10 minutes Lots of people love to bike around these areas, although they are the serious bikers who love a hilly challenge! Otherwise it’s best to have a car. Stroud train station is a 5 minute walk from us. Please note that The Garden Studio is alongside a railway line. It takes on average 5-10 seconds for each train, and there are only 2 per hour - one going in each direction both within 5 mins of each other. Personally I find the disturbance minimal and they don’t run through the night. For breakfast there will be cereal and bread in the cupboard, and milk, butter and spreads. Please let me know if any dairy allergy. Teas and coffee also provided. There is a double bed, and we can also provide a cot bed mattress (and bedding) for a small child if needed. The mattress will have to go on the floor. Suitable for 1-4 year olds. Whilst there isn’t WiFi we do have a plug in Ethernet cable for you to use. And please remember the garden is private. You can use the decking in front of the studio and the pathway to the drive. If you have a child I will happily show you where the swings and treehouse are. We look forward to welcoming you to the hilly town of Stroud!
