Rotoma Lookout

The good old 'kiwi bach'. Its rustic with no dishwasher, microwave, board games, puzzles & books & set amongst NZ native bush. It has everything you need to take a break from life. Native birds, trees, the odd spider (nothing poisonous in NZ) & a lake view, we think, is what it's all about. It has two bedrooms & sleeps a max of 5. Workable kitchen, log fire, tv & wifi. Soap, tea, coffee, toilet rolls & some cooking condiments included. Sheets & towels NOT provided Set in New Zealands native bush amongst the wood pigeons, tuis, bell birds, punga, Rewa Rewa, nikau palms and peacefulness the bush offers. There's a private beach across the road, 3min drive to the boat ramp & play ground. The township of Kawerau a 15min drive with supermarket and free heated swimming pools. Sadly, due to guests not leaving the property as they found it, we now charge a cleaning fee. The Carport is your space to park, and for extra parking, park on the grass verge by the power pole. (directly opposite) We live an hour away in Mount Maunganui. Readily available via phone or wifi mediums. Our Bach accommodation is up a steepish paved driveway, so you can get the great view. There are 5 other baches up the same driveway, although because of the bush, each has its own privacy. Carport and separate parking for up to 4 cars at the bach. The Intercity buses go past the driveway everyday and i believe they will stop if requested. From the carport, there is a short walk up a cleared (and maintained) path in the bush (which includes a few steps), before reaching the back door.
